Faculty & Staff
JEANIE MORELAND
OWNER AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Jeanie studied Dance & Theatre at Butler University. She holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts and secondary education from Eastern Ky. University. She taught in the public schools for over 20 years. She is a 30 year member of Dance Masters of America.
Her students have performed on college dance teams, with the Radio City Rocktettes, NBA Chicago Bulls Dance Team, and professionally on Broadway.
MARQUESSA MORELAND EPPERSON
JMDT DIRECTOR AND CHOREOGRAPHER
PRE SCHOOL CLASSES, RECREATIONAL CLASSES AND COMPETITION GROUPS
She is a graduate of The Ohio State University. She was a member of the OSU Dance Team. She danced professionally with the NBA Chicago Luvabulls Dance Team.
As a professional actress and dancer living in Los Angeles, she appeared in film and television with a recurring role in the ABC Television series "Flash Forward" and "Eli Stone".
KENNEDY MARLER
COMPETITION GROUPS & SOLOS
Kennedy is a graduate of Fairfield High School and is currently attending the University of Cincinnati where she is studying Occupational Therapy.
She danced and competed growing up and won many title and top awards. She teaches and choreographs for our teens and competition solos
ALEXIS REED
COMPETITION & RECREATIONAL CLASSES
Alexis is a graduate of the Ohio University in Athens with a degree in Dance Somantics and Human Health and later obtained her masters degree in counseling from NorthWestern Univeristy.
She was a member and choreographer for Ohio University Dance Ensembles. She grew up dancing and competing with her local studio in Kettering.
CHESNEE DENNISTON
COMPETITION GROUPS & TUMBLING CLASSES
Chesnee is a 2022 graduate of Carlisle HS.
She earned her associate degree from Sinclair College and is continuing at Wright State University pursuing her degree BS in Criminal Psychology. She is currently a member of the Wright State Dance Team.
She is a former JMDT Dancer, training for 16 years and a competitive cheerleader.
STEPHANIE MACKEY
BALLET TECHNIQUE & POINTE
Stephanie has over 30 years of teaching experience.
She trained with Phyllis DeWeese at The Academy of Dance Arts and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BSN in nursing.
She works as an emergency room nurse as well as teaching dance.
She loves sharing her passion for dance with her students.
